I like to think that I learn from my mistakes when driving, and vow not to repeat them.
But there’s one particular junction that I screw up regularly
M6 northbound Jct 2 where the feeder road from the M69 joins,as you probably know,it’s a piece of cake, very long merge with good visibility.Bags of time to let other trucks in by moving to lane 2 or easing off the gas (I’m never in a hurry ).
But for some reason I’m always switched off at this particular junction
It’s probably because I’m always finished at that point, returning to base, and usually lost in my music .
Because of this,I neglect my nearside mirror and nearly end up side swiping another wagon I’m not proud to say I’ve done this 3 times in as many months
Apologies to the F&W driver last Friday
Does anyone else have there own particular “blackspot” ?
