Repeating mistakes!

I like to think that I learn from my mistakes when driving, and vow not to repeat them.
But there’s one particular junction that I screw up regularly

M6 northbound Jct 2 where the feeder road from the M69 joins,as you probably know,it’s a piece of cake, very long merge with good visibility.Bags of time to let other trucks in by moving to lane 2 or easing off the gas (I’m never in a hurry  ).
But for some reason I’m always switched off at this particular junction :unamused:
It’s probably because I’m always finished at that point, returning to base, and usually lost in my music :sunglasses: .
Because of this,I neglect my nearside mirror and nearly end up side swiping another wagon :exclamation: I’m not proud to say I’ve done this 3 times in as many months :frowning: Apologies to the F&W driver last Friday

Does anyone else have there own particular “blackspot” ?

Edited again after reading it properly…Crack on son.

Reading that and making a couple of assumptions, you’re on the carriageway and they’re merging in from the M69■■

You’re not really doing anything wrong then? You’re not moving lane etc??

A bit discourteous maybe, but unless you’re moving left, how are you nearly swiping another truck?

it’s your right of way.
I know we all usually move over into lane 2 to let trucks join but really they should merge safely, not just plough into the side of you.
What would happen if there was a truck at the side of you in lane 2 ■■? Hopefully you wouldn’t brake just to let another truck join the motorway ■■?

Sorry, perhaps not made it clear,I’m on the M6
I’ve got right of way I know,but I’m still being a dozy bugger

i don’t make mistakes.
i’ve seen many others making mistakes though.
