Nice lorries Do you have much trouble getting an artic in some places
As above, bit of both. some of the places ive been in France just rediculous where had to get to the house. like a mile or 2 of tightest bends up and down hill, its like you think, its never gonna happen or might have reverse all the way back as no where turn round, so artic can be a bit of a problem, depending i guess also on length of trailer he has. Spoken to oldman before about draw-bars, think he might prefer one, but then the company do alot of bed/furniture/container work as well, so artics come in handy for that.
Its sometimes funny when you turn up on them jobs in europe and think why the hell have they sent this artic and not one of the 7.5t’s to do it and you see the customer’s face when they actually realise what a big truck is when they see it, ha.
All a good laugh at the end of the day, maybe to me, not sure about the oldman, hehe

My bro worked for whites & co and they had them scanias. they usually had 2 beds up there one each side and only little small bit in middle. But it was usually just him and his driver so driver slept on bunk below and bro at top, so i think there is plenty of room. i guess 3 people what with all your stuff yea can be bit overcrowded.

pent house as you call it is crap… really hot and muggy in them and the beds arnt comfy. The merc one was even worse so i always slept on the bunk behind the seats and the porter up top. The only good thing about the pod is you can put the two beds up there together and make a nice double be for your self… Did a 1 week stint with 3 of us b4 and it is a little cosy plus i wanted to kill the other near the end of it
i fitted the the bars and lights on this a few years back in vanplan in warrington / now i think it,s painted all yellow the original air brushing was stunning was told it cost £15,000 think it belong to A1 movers

No they are not nearly 2 years ago now they packed up miss them dearly cant get anything like them now, unless somebody knows anywhere.
I’ve got one in build with Unique Van Bodies in Warrington. Its run By Terry Sinnott of Marsden Vanplan and is using a lot of the old Marsden staff and equipment. They are one of the only decent bodybuilders about at the moment. If you want their number let me know.
