What an odd character, films over 60 mins of videos doing “Class one farm deliveries” yet never once left the main drag and saw a country lane

Of course I was doing farm deliveries when I filmed those videos, I have done lots of various driving jobs, heavy recovery, general haulage, trunking work, timber deliveries etc. I only did the recovery work for a short while as it was too many hours and bloody hard work. I am now doing other driving work which I am not saying where.

I do not see the problem or rather your problem with this. How do you think I took the photos of all of the breakdowns that I kept stumbling across? I also put a video up of me filming a rolled over truck we righted. I was working on heavy recovery for a short while. Some of you people are so odd, I am not like most of you who stick in one job all of your time. I jump ship whenever I like, whether that is 1 week or 1 year. If a driving job doesn’t suit me then I simply walk away from it. That’s the beauty of being financially secure and having my own business to fall back on.I have always said, this driving lark is my hobby not my career. My career is refrigeration that is where I have made my money from not from lorry driving.

So if the 143 was driven on your recovery job is funny how you didn’t correct Rob here when he mentions hay and straw

Don’t know why you’ve bothered to mask your reg UKt mate, there can’t be that many 143 rigids of that livery pulling hay & straw about bud.

I reckon I might get a week now before some numpty tries it on with me. Hey ho rob.

People get skeptical because this sort of story is almost as common as pink chalk and ‘I missed the Herald of Free Enterprise’. Quite frankly no one cares how much money you have or how successful your business is, it’s a truckers forum and most are here for that

Nothing funny about it, I don’t want anyone knowing what or who I drive for, suits me if anyone is looking out for a blue and white straw wagon. Same reason I won’t show just anyone on here my refrigeration videos unless I feel confident they are not psychopaths which I get the impression they are from some of the pm’s that I get. I do not like any lime light or wish for any unwanted attention. Not complicated just I like my privacy as I also run a refrigeration company and wouldn’t want any of my customers knowing I have the rep I have on here in case any one twigs who I am. You may not understand as you show yourself and use your own name but I prefer not to. I understand it makes me look like a fruitcake in keeping my identity secretive except for a few. I just prefer to keep it that way.

Yes I agree but that is why I don’t mind those you describe knowing my identity. It is the other small minority why I need to keep my identity secretive. Call me paranoid or whatever, I have a business and a reputation to protect.

Yeh, there’s a certain cheeky git on here ( who has posted on this thread) who saw a pic of my gorgeous blonde Mrs, and sent me a meme suggesting… I was punching above my weight. :smiling_imp:

I apologise unreservedly Robroy for any offence caused by suggesting you were in any way not as pretty as your Missus. I deeply regret this and am sorry for any pain caused to you.

In the interests of balance I have found a recent photograph of you and your lovely wife which I’m sure you will agree shows your full virility and handsomeness. Once again please accept my apologies.

Only from the waist up maybe? Has RobRoy got legs as shapely as his good lady wife? Maybe we`ll find out if he gets some new safety equipment? scotclans.com/high-visability-kilts/

I don’t know, but with all his money he could buy a better car…

When did your company buy that nice scania?

They bought it in Germany about 10 years ago, they converted and rebuilt it with full engine and gearbox rebuild. Lovely old bus.

According to this photo taken on 11th july 2017 you are lying.

No brutal knockout blow at all, they bought it 10 yrs ago, 2017 is well after they bought it? Sparrow recovery. Is this difficult to grasp or something?

Distinctive bit of kit you’ve got there, make a nice noise too. Was that you driving it tonight (wednesday) at twenty past seven?

I don’t work there anymore but you will have seen it as it went to a breakdown at 6 in the town.

■■■■, I was hoping it WAS you. Shouting “Oy Trampy it’s me, Cavey” would probably seem a bit weird to anyone else.

Strange, right up until the moment you were called out over the picture you were blowing on about what a great old bus it is to drive etc, what happened ? Did you suddenly forget you’d moved jobs :unamused:

I don’t know what you mean, it is a great old bus, I enjoyed driving it, I would never let anyone know on here where I work at the time I work there. I do chop and change driving jobs quite often, you see I don’t do it for the money but for the kicks or enjoyment. Once I don’t enjoy it I simply move on. My refrigeration work is totally the opposite, I do that for the money and put more importance on that. problem I found with recovery was the hours were ridiculous. the money was excellent but that is purely because 19 hr shifts 7 days a week knocks the shine off of it. If I would have stuck it out longer I would have been like a zombie. It suits some but not me.

If I ever see you bud, you would find me a totally different person to what you expect me to be . I get on well with people in real life, I struggle on here a bit.

What’s strange is you were banging on about how great this 143 your driving on hay and straw was and how it took some getting used to only for it to apparently be the second 143 you’ve driven recently. As you know I was one of few that believed you at first but my God your story develops new holes every day
