Question in todays application form

After weeks of sending cv’s and filling application forms i came accross a rather strange set of questions today…
I have picked out some as they were pretty amusing

Do you suffer from monday blues? hmm
can you service the lorry ie change oil - wheels ects? wheels well ok but change the oil aint that for a mech to do

anyone else had stupid questions along the way :unamused:

LOL :smiley: no not on job application forms but on the driving test every lgv test i have taken up to now about half way round the examiner always asks (So what would you normaly be doing at this time of day ) last test as it was a saturday he asked (so what would you be doing normaly at this time mid week ) I find that all very strange :open_mouth:… I often wounder If thats to try and break your concentration :confused:
as for the changing a wheel or the oil on a job application the answer would be yes I can if the money is good enough :laughing: … regards Roy

Suffering from Monday Blues… They want to know whether you have a cool head and can deal with everything calmly. After all you are potentially transporting a 44t wagon of very expensive goods.

And changing oil… Yes I would guess it is the mechanics job. But if you are capable then you may be given the weekend jobs that are unlikely to have a mechanic on site (for example).

Possibly wrong but just my train of thought.
