Don’t think there’s a limit for wreckers mate, we operate in line with (but not bound by) STGO, but don’t need a movement order, so can run just about any size, lenght, weight.

My personal best is, towing an artic that was pulling a 70 foot trom loaded with steel.
70 foot of trailer, 10 foot of cab, 5 foot gap, 30 foot wrecker, no street lamps left on the roundabouts

i was doing a job like that thinking bloomin heck this is long and then noticed the overhead sign.M6 CLOSED FOLLOW DIVERSION.(between jct 5 and 6 n/b)
trying to get round the island under the M6 at the FORT shopping centre where BRS used to be was an absolute nightmare.
