Poundland

See loads of their wagons on the road and I’m a little puzzled. They are a supermarket which makes me wonder why they run Volvo FH500s’? I know they pull a lot if double deckers but it seems quite a large unit choice for shop delivery. Nice looking motors though. Saw one once pulling a 10m tandem, looked a bit odd!

And they only cost £1…

& they get paid a pound an hour. Lol

Resale value maybe.

Contract hire I think.
Easy to manage all units are the same! So that unit may pull a 33 footer in the day but could be back out on nights pulling a Double Decker!

The trucks are leased some days I have a 33ft rear steer or if I have a collection could be 24 pallets of sugar which is a tad heavy, also backload for asda and a decker with 52 pallets isnt light either.

And yes they are nice to drive aswell
