might be a bit difficult, considering EU citizens don’t need one, it’s been like that for a couple of years now. There was no border crossing open between rus-ge even before the war so your options are overland via turkey or ferry from bourgas (bg) or ukraine (haven’t used it so don’t know). Georgia is as peaceful as can be actually, cops everywhere and none of them looking for a handout either. The sarpi border is quite relaxed, took me 4 hours to cross the first time and about 15 the other, not a lot of traffic heading there.

Thats very interesting about the georgian visa situation and to be honest if i did go back i would go through turkey. My mate was on for patrick white and thats the way he used to go to baku but the company i worked for took the dagestan option into azerbajan as it was quicker but im sure turkey would have been safer option :slight_smile:
