Pontefract was a great night out. The wee truck Park in Wakefield was also handy.
If parked for any length of time in Wakefield I used to park up near Morrisons/coke area and down to the train station( down the dark lane. Turn right. Few hundred yards.). About 80p return into Wakefield.
When i was there i was on a tour, in Wakefield it was at the Theatre Royal, so needed to be within walking distance.
