Long time Tory member (and failed leader candidate) Jenrick…Privately educated. In 2020 he unlawfully helped (Tory donor) Raymond Desmond avoid a £30+ million tax bill. Desmond also avoided building £103m worth of social housing because of Jenrick.
Long time Tory member (and refused a Lordship) Zahawi. Privately educated again. Sacked as Chancellor for not disclosing he was under investigation for tax evasion. He later paid back the taxes and had a fine imposed. (Fines are not levied for genuine mistakes) He also charged the UK tax payer for heating for his private stables.
Long time Tory member (Also bitter at not going to the Lords) Dorries. Said she would resign as an MP, but only did so after many months of being paid but doing nothing at all for her constituents. Previously she had disappeared from the HoC to appear on TV. She also employed her kids as aides on tax payer salaries. As Minister for Culture & Media she talked about tax payer money going to C4. (It is privately funded)

Anyone standing as a politician should expect their past to be examined. It is part of the game.
Farage as a politician for decades, and surrounding himself with other failed and rejected politicians, is fair game for comment. It is part of the territory.
I do mention Politicians who profess business and other financial expertise. Of course I do! Past performance is an indicator (not a perfect one) of future performance.
Farage being one of the laziest MEPs has been a good indicator of his attendance in the HoC and in Clacton. His failed business and failed private finances, and his misappropriation of tax payer monies is also an indicator of his “financial acumen”.
