Police, A40 Oxford; A Warning

Piston broke:
It’s hardly fair to attack mickeyblue and blame him for all the mistakes that the police make… He’s on here, for whatever reason, and is getting personal attacks because he admits to working for the police.

There are plenty of proffessional police men and women, just the same as there are plenty of proffessional lorry drivers. It’s not the fault of the ground floor people if the whole operation is badly managed from above! :unamused:

Like another poster said, if you don’t do anything wrong, you have nothing to hide. Too many keyboard warriors on here again!

I wouldn’t want to do police work and I have a lot of respect for them all. There are always a few bad apples within any job, even lorry drivers…

I think its very unfair to put all the blame at mickeyblue’s door…

Only my opinion, of course!!

Waiting for the flack, which will surely come…

Agree with that post 100%

This

So what about your non-stop crap about they never do right? They mess up, lorry drivers mess up, we all mess up sometimes - its human nature!

I don’t give a stuff if there is 30,000 video clips! Just because they have a uniform on means that they are in the public eye, so they are bound to get slagged off at every opportunity by people who really should know better!

Seatbelts, phones and speeding are all against the law, we all know that! If we take the risk and get caught, how does that make being stopped - because you or me BROKE the law - a money-making exercise?

It’s your own bigotted and deluded reasoning that deserves contempt…

You won’t get it from me though, because I realise that YOU are entitled to YOUR opinion!

Deluded, I am not but thanks for trying…

Devils advocate, I might be…

+1

I ask one question, who would like to be hit by an uninsured driver? I bloody don’t. If i was hit by one that will mean i will end up having to pay for my own damage whilst he only gets 6 points and a year ban. Stopping that person via road side checks is a spot on idea.

a vehicle not having tax leads to many other things, and just by luck they pull over a car or a van that has empty/full containers stinking of fuel.

Rob!! you are so anti everything it makes me think you have missed out on so many things, especially in your younger years.

Please chill out and accept that sometimes other people may be right. :stuck_out_tongue:

Not much of an answer, Rob?

Its nothing personal towards you, or any other… I just completely disagree with tarring all the police with the same brush. Its not right, its not fair and it certainly isn’t naive!

Just because you had the cane at school doesn’t make all teachers violent and cruel…

Just because poor Baby P was failed soo badly by SOME of the social services doesn’t make them all totally useless…

I don’t suppose that matters to you though because it doesn’t affect you. You cannot see the bigger picture at all, you just seem to generalise and pontificate when it suits…

How is life in your goldfish bowl?

I’ve not missed out on anything and have probably done more stuff in my life than the majority of other people. I am more than happy to agree with people when they are right, and also more than happy to hold my hand up and admit I was wrong when proved so (plenty of instances of me doing that on this very site if you bother to look), but you police apologists who claim they can do no wrong are in fact very wrong yourselves. It’s always the people that have had no dealings with them that say that sort of crap you are spouting as well. And I’m not talking about a ‘friendly’ pull over late at night, where-are-you-going where-have-you-been, okay-on-your-way-sir-have-a-nice-evening BS, I’m talking about REAL dealings with them when some serious ■■■■ has gone down - you know, the actual time when you ■■■■■■■ need them. Well that’s when they show their true colours. They are either nowhere to be ■■■■■■■ seen or they’re there like flies round ■■■■ - but not to help you - oh no, they’re only there to see what they can pin on YOU even though you’re the ■■■■■■■ innocent victim.

I’ll bet a good amount of money that the other guys on this site who often agree with me on this topic also had a good deal of respect for the police at some point earlier in their lives, but then some incident happened where they needed them and they saw them for who they really are. I was the same in my younger years, but having had more than my fair share of dealings with them both as an innocent and guilty party, I quickly realised what a complete and utter bunch of [ZB]s they all are and not even worth spitting on.

In fact one such incident is well documented on this site. Look for my old diary blog and you’ll read about the incident where I got wheel clamped at Solihull whilst sitting in the truck in a queue waiting to tip with the truck lights on. To summarise : clamper starts putting clamp on, I start engine and tell him to remove it; he doesn’t so I warn him he’s got x seconds before I start to move; still refuses so I creep forward very slowly in truck - bloke is stood to the side of the wheel and not in any danger whatsoever; I drive at tortoise speed onto site; clamper calls pigs and told them I tried to kill him by deliberately driving directly at him at speed; pigs turn up and I get arrested despite my protests and a witness statement from another driver; I get chucked in a filthy freezing cold cell for 4 hours at Solihull pig station with ■■■■ all over the floor; no food, drink or phone call is allowed; after 4 hours I’m let out and I have to spend another 1.5 hours making a statement; custody sergeant then has big argument with the arresting officer because apparently she arrested me under wrong section and it wasn’t even relevant :unamused: . Can’t remember what happened after that without looking back; pretty sure I ended up with a caution before being released. Clamper was also released without charge despite outright lying about what had happened and made my life hell for 6 hours.

And that’s one of many incidents I could convey which all have a similar theme.

So yeah, you police apologists continue to respect them and think the sun shines out of their arses. Your time will come for your ■■■■■■■ over…

Well put there Piston Broke,(makes a change :open_mouth: ) perhaps it would be better if next time Muckaway’s struggling for something to type he could dream up a thread where no matter who said what no one would get blamed for anything

I can just imagine your attitude as well to the arresting officers…I read your posts and only see that you are so dogmatic you really are one unique person.

I don’t know you but would really like to meet you in person. I’ve heard some ■■■■■ in RDC’s but you really take the biscuit!!

Typical reply as expected. Would like to see how calm you remain when some jumped up pig starts cuffing you and telling you you’re under arrest based solely on some random’s word for something you haven’t done. [zb]

I take extreme exception to that remark. :imp: :imp: :imp: Do you realise how derogatory that remark is■■?

It is one thing to have a go but to call someone a ‘’ is unacceptable in my opinion.

I’ll have a good discussion with anyone but that remark has really overstepped the mark :imp:
