Couple of little points : whilst not condoning the action of the kids, The incident occured last October near Telford, and was released to the media by Mark Berry who remarked " Imagine what might have happend if it had not been captured on the camera !!!. Oh did i not mention that Mr Berry is of Dashcam maker Smart Witness , good of him to bring it to our notice then

Shame the little scrote didn’t break a leg, would have given him something to remind him not to be so bloody stupid next time.One thing I did notice, watch it in slo-mo and see how long it takes for the trucks speed to drop from 87kph, even once the kids are out in the road. This is not a criticism of the driver, just shows human reaction time and how far you travel at speed.
Could be more the reaction time of the gps speed rather than the reaction time of the driver.
GPS speed displays work by calculating how long it’s took you to travel a certain distance, so, although they’re very accurate at a constant speed, they’re very slow at speed changes.
