There but for the grace of God go I, but half of the wannabe lorry drivers on here who post silly comments still need their arse wiping for them …

So maybe the one on the left was trying to screw around because the road was closed and the one on the right was simply stuck by trying to pass the other down the inside, tbh, wtf does it matter, it is a livery, the drivers could have easily have been agency as they could Stobart drivers, the only people who bleet on about Stobart drivers thinking they are better than all the rest are keyboard warriors like you lot in any case, I never heard one say or think they are better than the rest.Grow up ffs.
I agree with what you’re saying that a driver is just a driver no matter who they work for. However, the TV series has done nothing to endear the Stobart drivers to the “other” truck drivers. Whether or not its how the show has been edited they really do make themselves out to be a cut above everyone else on the road because they work for Stobart.
I mean the way they dramatise a bloody shop delivery is ridiculous. Ok, there are some tight drops but you look at most supermarkets and rdc’s and it is simply a case of getting turned round and backing onto a bay. It’s not exactly the hardest job is it?
If they wanted to give the public a real view if the challenges a lorry driver faces they ought to have sent a crew out with a forestry truck or a bulk blower/tipper driver. They have to deal with the worst surfaces for driving on and probably the tightest manoeuvres you’re likely to see.
This. They have brought it on themselves.

brought what on the tv series has been a massive success.
most people with an ounce of brainpower, can see that its heavily dramatised in order to appeal to the non trucking tv viewer. it
s only a few thick ■■■■ lorry drivers that seem to get upset about it…but thats because they
re…thick ■■■■ lorry drvers
Dancing on ice returns…
Oh well, ■■■■ happens
Probably doing emergency stops to avoid the yellow van going the wrong way

Maybe it was the girl.
She probably heard people on here wanted to smash her back doors in and thought she better double check.
By the Girl I assume you are referring to’ Stobarts ’ driver ’ Fiona '. She may also be an hairy arsed driver who knows!. For all the knocks she, and other Lady drivers receive on these forums, I guess, that like myself, out there, there are many a driver who given the opportunity would jump at the chance to discover whether this is the case or not.

probably both empty with lift axles down
sounds about right.

the bashing they get!!! Each and every driver on the programme who has come across as a drama queen because he had to blind side it, or go south through the blackwall…has agreed to look a prat and has brought on the bashing the green army get!
I personally don’t have an issue with the company, but can see why they get the stick they do.
I’d happily work for them if they didnt insist you work 70+ hrs a week to earn a normal living!!!
it`s only the thickos that bash them…normal people see the tv program for what it is,and accept stobbie drivers as every day lorry drivers, going about their every day lives

There are also a lot of clever people, who’ve worked for them in the past, I’ve never watched any of programs as it was bad enough working for them! They’re a shower of ENDEX!
If they filmed what REALLY WENT ON,
they wouldn’t have a fan club
they’d be the laughing stock!
and they WON’T be filming anymore anyway, as a certain Alan Jenky off the board said so! If they didnt get much exposure, WTF are they on sky sports news FFS! grow up oh mighty one, people are allowed their own opinions!

Why’s that then!!!I’d happily work for them if they didnt insist you work 70+ hrs a week to earn a normal living!!!
Not this again
through risk of going over it again.
I can’t see why they get the stick they do, because of the way the actors, sorry drivers come across on TV. That’s all I meant. If they think that TV programme wouldn’t have caused a big dose of ■■■■■■■■■■ then they are daft!!!
Don’t Eddie trampers do the sort of hours I posted? I admit, I only know one driver myself, on Stobart Ports, and he generally does these hours?
