Nice pictures Raymundo, makes me miss the 360 waste grab’s i used to be on fair bit smaller but same kinda machine. How long does it take take to unload the boat? or does it vary?
The design of the truck and crane is a bloody good idea and one of John Scots own. If the timber is being taken straight the sawmill discharge time depends on the flow of trucks, today it took about 7 or 8 hours for 700 odd ton but when in Troon and the timber is being stored on the quay then considerably quicker.

This week, I get to play the baddie.
Welcome to my world brother! I get to do that for one week out of seven. What I like to do is smile a lot and go out of my way to help outside drivers. Poor sods never know what’s hit them, and they spend the entire visit looking slightly confused and eyeing me with deep suspicion expecting me to spring the trap at any second.

Let me guess… engine related??

Fuel. It’s turning over like a good un, but not firing up.
Had this the last two days
Is it just me or is the handbrake on these new Volvos Ridiculously delicate? Many a time I pulled the lever only for the “P” light to go out and the handbrake to release. It got to the stage if I wanted the handbrake on I had to stop the engine as I didnt trust it anymore.
I have sympathy for the guy in the video a few weeks ago chasing the runaway truck. I can see why it might be a handbrake issue.
That aside though, its a comfy rig to drive and very driver friendly
