I’ve been peddling this 12 plate actros for about 3.5 months. I had a 16 plater from new at my previous place of work and I can honestly say the older one is an all round better truck. I prefer the V6 over the i6 and the gear selector next to the seat is way better than the stupid stalk thing. I even use the manual mode a lot because it feels more natural, it makes me reminisce about my first actros years ago, a P reg (one of the first in the U.K.) but that was better still because it had a clutch peddle!
Yep with you on the gear selector underneath the armrest. Stalk thing is just scania ish I think.

Loads more room in the cab and a fridge as well

Yep makes the 4 artic drivers jealous as they’ve got poverty spec of the peg tractor units and my rigid had to be built from scratch so has fridge and storage hammock above bunk
