Or the upmarket version of 2 specially constructed concrete walls with a slight rise at the front to reverse between? (still with the scaffold poles in).
lol, brings back memories of the old man doing a box swap when I was a kid - 2 lorries and two containers that had to be swapped, old digger lifting the back , 2 neighbours tractors at the front with the scaffold pole through the vents , lift up, drive out, and put the drums in ! ( repeat operation until finished, although IIRC he didnât have enough oil drums so at the point where both containers were off there were piles of blocks involved
Yep, sounds normal. Usually had a block of wood on top of the drum. The smart ones gouged a V out of the block for the pole to sit in to stop the whole lot rolling off.
Then those who had to do demount often built the walls.

Yeah, seen your truck in & out. Yes ###### Transport worked out of new plant @ Bridgewater so decided to â â â â â !!!â â my job aswell. Told Wisemansâ best of luck, have a nice life!! Worked out for the best as Okehampton suffered major cutbacks a while ago so not enough work left anyway.
