Slack Alice who performed in the Van Tromp etc. on Bethnal Green Road will be about 70 now. :open_mouth:

Not forgetting The Green Gate pub

Or the Red Lion at Aldgate.
First time I’ve seen a woman smoking a ■■■ from THERE. :open_mouth:
The pub smoking ban would not allow it these days.

ahh singe ■■■■■ the stripper, what a gal…

I remember a place back in the 70s, the punters put money in the juke box(it was the 70s) and the ladies would gyrate and remove their kit slowly. If the punters stopped paying they would put their clothes back on. Its odd the things I remember from way back and dont know where I was yesterday.

There was a pub in Birmingham just off the M5 at Sandwell around 2000ish
Thurs nights were ‘■■■■■■■ barmaid’ nights, or ■■■■ Out Thursday as the locals called it.
The girls had their ■■■■■ just out with their jumpers pulled down below them,.as soon as 10 o clock came , the jumpers were pulled back up pretty rapid like  … it just looked amusing when they did it as if they had been waiting all night for 10…as I’m sure they were.

Any of you old enough to remember that pub by the old Aldgate lorry park in London, was it the Red Lion?
Trouble was I could never stand beer in plastic glasses!

9 posts back mate. The plastic glasses did not risk harming the strippers body parts like a glass one.
2 pints in The Red Lion then a walk down to …The Lamb?
Then finish off in The Long bar for last orders,.set the alarm for 9 am.

Ohhh yes!
And I ain’t the only one I’m sure. Parked wedged in on the roundabout, and would walk over Tower Bridge from Tooley St in ok weather.

Can anybody remember the name of the Exotic Swedish Artiste with the Cockney accent.
I bet that the nearest she ever got to Sweden was laying on the bunk of a Volvo F88.

I bet she had a lovely Vulvo .

Junction 29 truck stop used to have a stripper evening. I remember (vaguely… ) Christmas Eve either '88 or '89… a very nice stripper , and I won a bottle of Bacardi, but can’t recall what for. Mind you, in them days… :grimacing:

Wasn’t Lincoln Farm truck stop in the papers years ago for some naughty business going on there ?
