Surely everyone must know the ‘legend’ Mark Dixon? Only if so you can avoid him when you spot him at a MSA (just to complete your misery when you’ve been robbed for parking!)

Will be there as it’s only 10 miles down the road and costs us a fiver entry fee for the classics and only 4 or 5 gallons to get there and back. If it was more than that we wouldn’t go. I agree that they shouldn’t charge so much for entries but at the end of the day it’s a business event unlike a lot of the vintage rallies we go to that are often for charity, where entry is free for exhibitors. I suppose you get something back for your money in the shape of the music on the Sunday night.

The guys who I work with will be taking their company wagons. I’m not sure if the company will pay entrance fee and/or diesel (they are normally pretty good to us) but if it’s out their own pocket that could be nearly 100 quid before food and drink (we go home for ours rather than paying the inflated prices.) At the end of the day if you want to go it’s your choice I guess.

Will be taking two E10’s and a E14. Suppose I had better go and drag the one I’m driving out of the farmyard where it’s sat since last October, no show and shine win for me!

Wont be going, cant be bothered to do the 7 hour drive each way, that and im gonna be too busy fragging tyres on the track.

7 Hours! you must be giving it some, took me 9 hours to get to Scotland. That’s a shame your not going to Truckfest, last time i saw you, you looked stoned

Nine hours from Peterborough area? :open_mouth: :open_mouth: Have you tried starting the car? I go from Luton to Edinburgh for football on a regular basis. Usually leave about 06:00 and that gives me time to call in to see my Mum and Dad for an hour, go from their place to the ground, find parking, go to the chippy, watch the game and be back in Luton by 23:30 latest.

Neil…Now I know you’re lying. Football…In Edinburgh?! :open_mouth:

Nope wont be there either due to other commitments
