Is Ken Harrison still in haulage Dan, I reckon that Ron (Pipeman) must be retired by now though?

Ken Harrison died some years ago his son still runs a couple of lorries.Pipeman retired last year, he drove for Alan Harrison.Alans son Andy still runs about 6 lorries,I think he goes into Ballidon sometimes to load from the bagging plant.

Thank’s for that Mick, they ran a tidy looking fleet. I ‘officially’ retire this coming monday as well so don’t go offering me a job now!!

Just before the financial crisis Tarmac were urging us to buy artics with" walking floor" trailers and make loadsamoney! 6 months later they were scratching their heads wondering what to do with the ones they had got.

Haha Dave, things wont be changing much! Still trying to sort my pension out, I will be unemployed for the first time ever come monday and will need something to live on but nowadays you have to claim your pension as apparently a lot of folk don’t want theirs but prefer to work on instead so it is no longer an automatic payment. 
Still I reckon I can rely on yourself, Larry, Bewick and that nice Harry Gill chap to tide me over in the meantime! I wont try tapping Malmic up for a sub, he 'aint that far off a pension himself!

ring dwp , or find out locally who it is in your area pete . she came round to our house and sorted the whole thing out in 30 minutes , and she can also advise you about any financial help with your wife’s disabilities . dave
I phoned DWP a few weeks ago Dave and they assured me that all would be sorted by the 21st, never heard a darn thing since! Maybe they will phone me on Sunday…? I keep getting emails from pension providers wanting to ‘help’ me as long as I chuck them a few quid, I have never been in demand so much.
