Birchenoughs - any pics of some of their trucks? Yet more memories from my vast memory - back in the day, late '90 to
'93 I studied at Macclesfield College, and there were plenty of trucks to gander at. From the Birchenough fleet I would see
on a daily basis Volvo F10 A492 JFC & triaxle bulk tipper, heading up the inclined Park Lane, driven by a guy called Alan,
who had ‘Alan & Ange’ proudly signwritten on the O/S side window blanking panel. Later, same trailer but the Volvo being
driven was HFA 735V, classic flat roof F10. what happened to JFC I wonder?

David Mellor parked up and sold up. A few pictures from the sale.
I wonder if Dave’s stock car was included in the sale, the one that he became world champion in? It used to perch up on the garage roof, but I would imagine that it has long gone. Yet another local haulier gone for good.
Pete.
Thank you, but what a collection of gear, all British made I would think, fantastic stuff ,did it all go in the sale ?. The other Foden man was Graham Poyser Winkhill , Waterhouses, I bought some Foden bits off him in the 70s, Regards Larry
