This looks a Scammell Scarab, but what kind of engine can it have to achieve such a hard job, pulling two trailers, one with a bulldozer?

Yes, We has one Albion 4 wheel tipper bought new on a J reg and another bought new on a K reg, both with LAD cabs.
That Barnfather Bedford took me back, a driver I worked with at Buntine’s in Oz called everyone ‘father’, I don’t think it was due to abandonment, I think he simply could not be arsed to remember everyone’s name. We used to park in their yard at Belshill oppposite the old Catterpillar factory,.and head into the Social Club opposite (after loading out of Ravenscraig and Gartcosh BSC.)
Some good and wild nights in there, with some ‘‘dodgy faces’’ amongst the local regulars.![]()
