The best job in primary school was as a milk monitor. Not only did you get your allocated ration but you also got whatever was left over

Thanks for posting those , Fabulous photo of the eight wheeler with the Dyson ? drawbar

And double doses of Cod Liver Oil administered via a ‘communal’ teaspoon (same spoon for all the class)
Happy days

Every day I got my daily bottle of milk (even in Scottish type Scotland). I daresay it was one way of circumventing malnourishment. Osteopoor-something? Not a chance.

And Matron.

Cheers Buzzer, Gascoynes have been going for over 100 years, under various ownership. It was initially started by a Queenslander you may have heard of , Charles Kingsford Smith.

Ran Fodens, or so I’ve heard

In Primary school if you were ‘good’ all week, they came round the class with a tin if pick and mix.
I NEVER got a 'kin sweet EVER !! :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

Yeah I know…I should let it go.:joy: :joy:

■■■■■ on Summer days. Nice bottle of warm milk, can taste it now

The only downside to that beautiful 6900 is paying to fill the 6x 450 litre fuel tanks, Buzzer.
If I owned it, I’d give Robroy a steer.

Yeah, that was ick in summer.

Anyone got any ideas who could have sheeted this up? I don’t think it would have been a Cumbrian haulier and definitely not a West Yorkshire bloke :face_with_hand_over_mouth::thinking:

Ahem no comment

Being a Yorkshireman (we have a reputation for being a bit ‘thrifty’) my wallet always twitches a bit when I look at the size of those fuel tanks. :face_with_crossed_out_eyes:

Tut tut. No name, date, start, finish or mileage
