Willmotts transport still go to Malta.

Correct, Cyprus

Malta have had to get rid of most of the older British stuff now even though there were still a few ERFs and Fodens and Leylands about.I did see a Bedford bus from 50s or 60s and i think Cyprus will be the same due to EU law on air quality

Close - Cyprus

Leatherhead UDC I reckon !  :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

Is that the mental institution down there?

PLEASE, mental institution sounds a bit harsh, we are after all, a ‘caring’ gathering of old lorry drivers, perhaps in this situation we could refer to his residence as ‘secure accommodation’

Is Vic Haines still going? I used to load him back frequently from the Nottingham area back in the '70s, He had light vehicles then, nothing like that smart Scania.

Yes hes stiil going , but not running any old ERFs now

He must be ancient by now then, can’t be sure but I thought he was about the same age as me.
I must have skipped the ERF stage, my brother and I started with one Transit van but got so much work that we had to sub much of it. I think Vic had small vans too but it is a very long time ago.

To be hoped it had power steering
