I have, just once! Working out of Milltown quarry near Ashover one afternoon; “Just nip this load up to Highoredish and then a Chesterfield to finish off” the lady in the weighbridge told me. Highoredish was only a mile or so from the quarry but I had never actually been there, I asked another driver who gave me directions to the site (but the wrong bloody site!!) and set off down this single track hill that got narrower and narrower until I came to a ford across a stream on a tight right hand bend with walls either side narrower than the lorry, oops! Into reverse for about quarter of a mile back up the hill and then a chap walking a dog asked me if I was lost!
He kindly let me reverse into his driveway to turn around and at the very top of the hill was the house I needed, phew. Got back to the quarry; “You have been a while” yes, I realise that and was following what **** told me and went wrong I said. “Well he went yesterday and went wrong as well” the lass said!
Anyway I got to Chesterfield just as they were knocking off for the day but got tipped so all ended well.
Pete.

No Tony, that went many years ago (1991) before the Excavator pub was redeveloped. I think that some sort of machine is parked outside nowadays.
Pete.
