I was able to work off line so some older photos were getting resurrected.

Thanks Johnny a nice Foden(2013 snap) for you in the Carsegate area, open fields no doubt when you left, apart from the old town you wouldn’t recognise the suburbs and still expanding.
Cheers
Oily
Edit just realised I’d already posted the Foden, so a Volvo same place, same job
Nice one Eddie the wheels are back on the wagon & your rolling along

A couple from a year or two ago, the 04 plate was still plodding on recently.
I believe that Breedon no longer run those demountable bodied eightwheel Foden Alphas as the tare was too high? A good idea on paper, a tipper in daytime and a tanker at night, but not a success!

Hi oily where is the garage because it’s exactly the same as the garage on rudyard lake .
Dan you are right, the caption with the photo was Horton England which I took to be Horton, South Somerset, so found another photo this time with Lake View Garage on the A523, canna argue with local knowledge so you get the cigar, best keep ROF in the dark about this, else I’ll be owing him a pint of apple juice
