Eh?
Stumbled upon this one (NMP), looks like it’s been taken recently, is the old girl still earning it’s keep?
Cheers, Patrick

Love these, not strictly trucks i suppose, but fascinating nonetheless.

Nice one Dean , that model Saab reminds me of the Erik Carlsson, the rally legend. Just had another look and that might well be him at rear of the trailer with the hand up.

Stuff the transporter, I’ll take one of the cars, I ran one for many years and always thought it to be a ■■■■ fine car.

GOM is right. I had a SAAB 95 Estate on a G plate. V4 Ford engine, column change and free wheel. 7seats too - miss it. Jim.
A seasonal picture from me, to wish you all a Merry Christmas OK, it’s not a lorry, but father had been a lorry driver before getting the chauffeur job, and went back on the lorries soon after the picture was taken early in WW2 when the car was requisitioned by the government and he had nothing to drive! He couldn’t go to war as he was disabled from a motorcycle accident in 1929 when he went under a Joe Lyons’ steam wagon and drag on a Rudge Ulster, so for part of the war he drove an ambulance and the rest of the time a lorry. He also did a stint on London Transport just after the war but ended up on the lorries until retirement with 57 years professional driving to his credit, clean licence and no claims against him. Sadly he didn’t last long in retirement, he’s been gone 30 years now.
