Who remembers this company UFD , Photo taken on the morning of CROFT CARNIVAL 2000 for my kids school and driven by John Wrench (Ex DOW FREIGHT) great driver and a top guy
On the way home and came into Ostende and one of B.E.T. parked up, and the kids asked could they have a photo with it . Dad drove a tanker for B.E.T.

Now I can remember seeing this old girl working when we used to load steel on SCAC trailers in the early 80’s in and around Sheffield, As for the Carnation Foden I don’t know if it was a company motor or a sub contractor in there colours but some one will know, Buzzer.
Hi Buzzer That Carnation Foden Prob was one Robsons Carlise? Chris,
Thanks to Ray Smyth, DEANB, Punchy Dan, Boatchaser, pv83 and lurpak for the pics
Hi Patrick, similar to the model you posted, the first sleeper cab from Scania Vabis, probably the first anywhere.

Cheers Oily! Although it might be the first one, does look much better then the latest one…
Hi the Carnation Foden is definitely a Robsons motor plus it has as usual a Carlisle (HH) registration plate.
Cheers, Leyland 600.
The rich relations, Dan!

I’ll have to make do with the 17 old Foden Rof
So sad, Dan. I really feel for you!
And you still owe me a breakfast.

Another Milly still working for it’s keep.
Really well maintained, too. Last time I looked it had just had new shackle pins and bushes (oldies will know what I am talking about!), steering ball joints and loads of grease. Could do with a lick of paint, tho!
