ALCO’s DAF looks well freighted the way she is hugging the road, Good photo that. Eddie.
This immaculate 1947 or 9 not sure Leyland Tiger PS1 with Plaxton body is currently for sale, one owner from new tested to full PSV standard.
This photo appears to be in Thirsk which is most likely. The coach belongs to Smith’s of Malton.
Cheers Leyland 600.

I was wondering where I had seen the livery colour on the body before, nice one ,top photo.

A old Albion and old ERF.
Hi Stanfield, back in 1955 as a lad on a day out with a haulier friend in his Albion Chieftain to BOCM at Selby for a load of cattle cake I took some wagon photos in the mill with an old box brownie. These included AEC Mammoth Major tankers of Smith Robinson and an AEC Mercury with Park Royal cab flat owned by Bannisters. These photos have lain around for years before the advent of Flickr etc and now when I could use them I cannot find them, however here are two photos that did survive from that day.
Cheers Leyland 600.
Hi Big AW, an ERF 68G and an Albion Caledonian, nostalgic photos.
Cheers Leyland 600.
that shot of selby… no longer there. Recently pulled it all down. They’ve saved the clock face though for use on the new development.
Hi Lee J, Yes I know the old mill was knocked down towards the end of last year, good news that the clock face has been saved. Thanks for the info.
Cheers Leyland 600
Thanks to coca cola kid, Stanfield, truckfing, BigAW and Leyland600 for the pics
quite a few bits in/on the media at present with regard to thieves with gadgetry that can disarm security systems on cars and no doubt trucks as well, some suggestion that on top of your vehicles alarm system, the steering wheel lock may make a comeback. Hey presto it came to my mind that I used to have one of them, did I give it away, bin it, nay found

Couple more for CWM, cheers Buzzer.
Carrying on from previous page two more, thanks to Ronnie Cameron.

Two or three years after that shot you took of the Albion and it’s driver I’d go over that same road on a number of occaisions with both RWB but more so with AHB and always in a Trader, one trip I recall was a load of pig iron to Barnsley and a load of straw back home.Cheers Bewick.
