0% emission
They very conveniently omit to mention exactly how much emissions are produced by building the vehicle, manufacturing the batteries & fridge, not to mention pouring tons of coal into Ferrybridge power station to charge the thing every night.
0% emissions my a**e!

One to add to the recovery section all you Geordie lads take note o whats getting lifted RAMAGE for Damage getting lifted out of a STICKY situation. Eddie. We are taking note Eddie, in my case if my cap blew off and into Ramages yard I wouldn’t go in after it!! That aside I know a few good motormen who work there,so you can’t lump them all together. By the way he also employs quite a few fugitives from north of the wall.

Don’t worry about taking the ■■■■ Eddie, I do it on TNUK all the time. Anyone who can’t cope with it on here is leaving themself wide open to allsorts of mickey taking. I don’t know if Ramage has any drivers based in Aukenleck but I wouldn’t be suprised if that was the case. regards Kev.

I don’t recall/know at which Truck show this shot was taken as I never attended any apart from one at Carnforth Truck Stop, but we had a group of drivers that were dead keen on attending these events, all the motors in the shot worked hard week in week out and got no favoured treatment from the Traffic office,so the lads had sure to be dedicated, which they were so I never interfeared as they were all a credit to Bewick Transport, and these particular motors were mostly not the newer end of the fleet either which was a further credit to these drivers.![]()
Cheers Dennis.
That is a cracking photo sir you must have been really proud of your fleet and your drivers, a real credit to you !
Thanks for the kind comment “DUFFMAN” I sure was proud of all our Drivers and the ones that attended the Truck shows had a free hand and it was mainly the older end of the Fleet that were driven by the “younger” end of the Drivers that were involved but they didn’t miss any work,IIRC some of them took loaded trailers and carried on Sunday/Monday from which ever venue they had been to.Cheers Bewick.
Three at rest thanks to CovLtwt.

I took this shot in the dock at North Shields mid 90’s. The owner was on a world tour with the motor, after the UK I think was heading for Canada. I seem to recall it was an ex Swiss army radio truck. I wonder if he ever finished his round the world trip? Who did Hanomag merge with, any ideas? Regards Kev.
Great pictures Kev Keep them rolling, Regards Larry.
The NEW ROAD CAFE pictured with the two new AEC MERCURY 4wheelers was owned by OSWALD TRANSPORT of AYR the cafe was just off the A500 where you turned right to go into STOKE. The new four wheelers being unpainted had just been collected from Boalloy at conglton That photo was in a book by Nick Baldwin and the two of them are pictured in a Bob Tuck Heitage book when six of Oswalds had loaded Chaside shovels for Aberdeen. Knowing Oswalds long serving transport manager Jim Cree I would imagine the 2 mecurys would set of for Ayr to get painted but only after they had loaded steel for Ayr. Eddie.
Cracking stuff Eddie, Keep looking in the old shoe boxes my friend, Regards Larry.
