Paper in trailer ABS / EBS

Don’t know about other drivers, but we certainly don’t take them - trouble is they seem to think that when you’re waiting 3 hours for a fitter, you get that three hours back at the end of the day!

Fair play to you . I work out of purfleet and the amount of drivers you see just bang under and bugger off is unreal

I know what you mean - I picked up an elvex trailer out of Dagenham yesterday, and watched somebody do just that - off up the road with no bulbs or lenses on the lights! Wonder how you’d explain that when you get stopped

If you are picking up from a port and its come across unocompanied most of the larger firms like ewals , Olof ect have them inspected by fitters on arrival . The fitters normally put a small strip of paper in the flap of the socket to tell each other it’s been done save it being done twice

That’s us lot out at Immingham that do their trailers.
