I was sat stationary in the traffic northbound M6 yesterday afternoon at Sandbach.
EE driver came flying past me on the hard shoulder. A large number of EE’s don’t give a flying f*ck about this country, or its people, or its laws.
Its an inconvenient truth for some people on here.
I agree that there are many EU drivers who have a total disrespect for this country
While I don’t agree with parking in residential areas, or near schools etc, maybe it’s just both the lack of, …and the ridiculously over regulated (not to mention over priced) parking facilities in the UK that they find both strange and/or unbelievable…
I can remember when you could overnight park a line of trucks down a side street in Bethnal Green for example, without any problem, also spots like Leith or Manchester. Try that today with the pedantic ■■■■ style authorities just waiting to relieve you of a hundred or so quid.
It has got to the stage now where we just take being financially dry analled in this country for any excuse as normal.
So laws or not, maybe the root of the problem is in the UK rather than drivers from abroad ignorant (and granted , in some cases intolerant) attitude towards them.

It is due to the total lack of any visible policing in the UK, quite rare to similar styles of driving in Europe on average you will see more police from Calais to Paris than you will see in a days driving in the UK, add to that the police cannot be bothered with the language barrier and you can fairly well do what you want
I agree regarding the lack of Policing. However although I agree a large number of ‘EE’s’ don’t give a flying f*** about this country, there are just as many if not more ‘UK’s’ that also don’t give a flying f*** about anybody else or any regulations.
It’s not only non uk based trucks that park in residential areas, there’s a Dewsbury based rigid flatbed truck that parks overnight 1 or 2 times a week on the side street near my home (which is over 40 miles from Dewsbury).
Or it’s parked on the main road not far from my local pub (on Thursday nights) which is why I spot it, I doubt the driver is asleep in it either. I can only asume the driver is local & Kipping in his bed.

I would have to agree with that, I can drive from Newcastle to sittingbourne, which I do regularly, & not see a single police vehicle.
all the plod are eating ring doughnuts off their accomplices ■■■■■! and drinking tea
Unfortunately since the jam butties got took off the road, it’s become a free for all.
Op, just nipping to Blackpool thinking of the children do you want a big dummy? I hope I don’t bump into any foreigners up there though I might not understand them!

I wouldn’t want to park in Manchester, I’d get robbed!
ROB, at least he didnt call them Flip Flops that really ■■■■■■ me off Now i do get very ■■■■■■ of with car drivers parking on zig zags outside the school gates, especially the ones in the Ahem Chelsea tractors they do have a choice to park sensibly, whereas the truck driver is limited as to where he can park and regulations on driving and the working day, we have far too many trucks with not enough decent parking places, and also may i add, not enough bosses willing to pay for such dignified places, hence the parking in side streets, laybyes and industrial parks, the foreign driver often has to pay from his own ■■■■ poor wages for the privalages english drivers get.
