Wares leftie 13 speed Fuller, Richard Ford had one too!! both from that cancelled Turkish order. OK, I know it’s a 3300.
I’m glad to see another example of these. Another owner-driver had one in Kepstow livery. Those Turkish-spec 3300s had 13-speed Fullers, as you point out, even though the Euro-spec ones had ZF synchos. The downside was that those Turkish ones lacked a lot of the refinements and were apparently a bit on the basic side. I don’t think that would have put me off in the least !! Here’s a picture of the Kepstow one. Robert
And here, for pudding, is a Belgian 3300, kindly posted on another thread by Tip-top (Eric) - also with a 13-speed Fuller, just to cloud the issue. I wonder if that too was a cancelled Turk order. Robert
Strange how companies seem to ‘‘explode’’ as soon as they start using ‘‘cheaper’’ drivers.I remember in the´early 70s when Het Centrum had about 5 trucks running ME,they were Brown and White.
The same happened to Breda Transport. When i worked for Jan De Lely we had about 20 trucks and Breda had 4,how that changed.
I remember when i worked for Stolk Int at their peak 130 Turks,8 English,3Dutch and 1 Swiss.

Hi Robert, sorry I missed you at Gaydon the other weekend. I owned A17 DKS for a few years running to Russia for Kepstowe. that photo was taken by me on the B&Q car park, outside their warehouse in London. You are correct it was fitted with a 13 speed fuller which unfortunately did not have any rear support and was always loosening and breaking bell housing studs. regards Jamie.

Hello Jamie! Thanks for filling us in on the details. I should’ve mentioned you when I posted the pic. Perhaps we’ll catch up with each other at another event. Cheers! Robert
