but the women and the ravages of time have taken their toll now I am just a caricature
of my former self but my wife says still very handsome, and I have to agree with her, and
she has just been to Specsavers so nowt wrong with the “headlamps”

We are on about Sellafield,well I recall a job we did a time or two in the early 90’s,it was meeting a Dutch shellfish dredger on Barrow docks where they had a mobile crane waiting and it slung a load of those bulk bags each with a ton of cockles or mussels in them onto one of our open top tautliners.It was always on a Friday afternoon and then we had to be on the Fish market in The Hague for ealy Sunday morning.This dredger used to start up on the West coast of Scotland and make it’s way right down the coast.Well one thing was certain the Dutchmen who bought the shellfish wouldn’t need to microwave them 'cause they’ed already be well done if they were dredged up round the Sellafield outflow.But they’ll eat owt on’t Continent so it wouldn’d bother them lads !!
