Us Sandmen are rough tough and fearless and most likely a little bit mad, or we would have never done the job in the first place. So if Ang wan’t to go a few rounds with me, I will let her hit me, but she will have to kiss it better for me! I also can dance her around for a few rounds to keep her trim.
Well can I now be officially old as next year my daughter will give me my 1st grandchild
1st. one eh? Enjoy, there’s nothing much better than grandkids. Wait until you’ve got a flock of the little bug…darlings, grandma this, grandma that, can we have?
Will be MY JOB to spoil then hand back to parents they can have all my time but not money as dont have any & will not be baby sitting as they wont be staying here overnight
time will tell ange , when our grandkids were on the way we swore we wouldn’t be babysitting or overnighting them , but as soon as they put in an appearance my mrs went all gooey and soft and we ended up almost surrogate parents . it’s so much nicer when you have the experience of bringing up your own though , there is no pressure when it is grandkids . waiting patiently now , granddaughter is 22 now so who knows what the future will bring . cheers , dave

My daughter is 25 this will be her 1st as well as my 1st grandchild it will be my mam 4th great grandchild her dad mam 4th but she is still only 68 & his parents 2nd grandchild

A couple of containers would be the best bet for a growing family,just add another on with each additional Grandchild.

There’s no problem when they’re tiny Dave you’ll find you can stack quite
a number of the little blighters in something as small as a boxroom stack
them three high and a binder is the secret and do a good job of the rope
and sheeting they’ll not move far enough to cause any trouble, now Ang

WE’re too old for them to stay overnight BUT, we downsized into a little one bedroomed cottage, ( no overnight visitors ) one of the young grandaughters turned up one day with a blow up lilo bed…“i’m staying with you tonight grandma” And she did,she slept on the floor.

I keep telling my lot that I’m too old for brat watching, all I get
is Dad they’ll keep you young, in truth the little er’ darlings add
years onto me and my problem is we’ve got three furnished bed-
rooms, big mistake like can the kids stay Friday night we’ll come
for them first thing Sunday morning, but they tend to oversleep
until nearer teatime.

i know exactly where you are coming from harry , you were lucky if they came late on sunday for the little bu…darlings , ours always seemed to appear just in time for sunday dinner and sod off with the kids before the pots got washed .

My wife don’t like dishwashers, she prefers to do it by hand, so I spoil her and get 6/12 bottles of Fairy liquid when they on offer, I love old fashion girls.
