hiya,
Just seen a bit of something on the tele some Ant and Dec rubbish but the
“Boss” likes it, one of the contestants was asked what he would do if he won
the jackpot his reply was spend it, he had no wish to be the richest man in
the cemetery, and I thought to myself that’s the way to do it, I think the guy
was a market trader and said he’d carry on working because he loved his job.
thanks harry, long retired.

Never saw that Harry.Did see the lottery result come up.I won’t be the richest man going through the anthracite.
Never mind there’s always more go’s to waste some more money trying. At least Spurs beat United.
Cheers Dave.

Oh dear, Man U beaten by The Spurs, Does that mean Sir will have gotten lock jaw because of his chewing dilema, Wriggleys best customer I would think, Well done The Spurs, Regards Larry.

Talking of being the richest man in the graveyard, It certainley wont be me, I live life to the full & enjoy this thread & all the banter, & what is life without excitement, just think of all the things we used to get up to in our younger days, & look at us now, well speaking for myself , I just want to end my days enjoying the things I have & of course keeping well lubricated with Scotish Nectar which might prolong my life, as they say being pickled is good, but there again, good who for ? the Distillery or the consumer, Well Im a shareholder to say the least, so I will just take life as it comes & I hope its in a glass filled to the top., Regards Larry.

Live every day as if its going to be your last is what Jethro the Cornish comedian says, because one day you will be right.
Today has been a lovely day here, also my team Spurs winning at Old Trafford was good, and having a drink while posting and reading messages on TNUK can’t be bad…And tomorrow, that’s another day.
Cheers Dave.

Well Harry, Ive been savouring the one I got when I was up at Lossiemouth, BENROMACH, A single malt of course, I got a couple of bottles and Im delighted with the flavour, smooth as a babys bottom with extra highland nectar flavour, I havent seen it in the Off Shops down here, but I will have a look in Fenwicks in the Toon the next time Im there, or perhaps the Whiskey Shop in the Metro Center, perhaps they will have it in stock, after all its getting near Xmas isnt it so there should be be plenty of our delights about, if you no what I mean Harry, Eh Ha Ha, Regards Larry.

Did anyone know that…
September begins on the same day of the week as December every year, because there are 91 days separating September and December, which is a multiple of seven (the number of days in the week). No other month ends on the same day of the week as September in any year.
And tomorrow is October.Keep the home fires burning and star writing the Christmas cards.
