Old Oswestry

Hi boys
Nev I like the look of your Fordson, look forward to seeing it around. Hard to think anyone could have got out of that ERF unhurt, where about near Ruabon was that then? Didn’t know you had a stroker must get around to see you, not been your way for ages

Regards Keith

Hello Keith, I think that happend on the bridge by the council skip yard on the old road by Plas Modoc. Keith that was the first artic i went on the road with, I delivered a few forklifts with the old KV, Then they put old Tom Ward on her and he used to polish the air pipes. and yes you call in and see foden and fetch ear muffs if you want to try it.

Smashing sound to those two stroke Foden’s Nev,will look forward to hearing yours.I drove a Commer Maxiload with the TS3 two stroke, there were also two eight wheeler Fodens in the quarry with two stroke engines, great sounding lorries.

Nev

if i ever manage to get my bedford back on the road or even finished i will come and say hello

Hello Legion, your most welcome to call in anytime as im in yard from 7am till 5 every day. I had an old driver (89) call in today that used to drive a Foden 2 stroke many years ago for Forresters Whixhall. He got in cab started her up and he did not want to get out, So i have made someone happy today,
