Well as far as I can remember it was new to a Brick Company, New in 1946, Smiles aquired direct from them I do have a photo of it in their livery before it was changed to The Smiles for Miles bit, I will try and find it and post it on here for you, Smiles & Co Ltd was a large haula,ge firm in those days Founded by my Late great uncle Isaac Smiles, My Grandad Smiles younger brother, Thanks for your interest, Regards Larry.
