Was at Brunton tractor show yesterday took this photo of Les Batsons ERF nice & smart. Jimmy (bumper ) taking Photos of entrants on the way in just realised who it was as we got past him, just in case you didnt recognise me Jimmy I wasnt in the old Transit, it was a Mk2 1968 Jag Green with Vinyl Roof stick it up here if its OK Mate

Here’s some scanned images of Redmires of Wolsingham Newlandside Quarry at Stanhope, these images were loaned to me by Craig Porter son of Brian Porter (R.I.P) as I have mentioned earlier my dad when he was alive worked for Redmires so they always hold a special place in my heart, I have also downloaded some photo’s of the Tyne-Tess road run on my thread truck shows past and present if anybody is interested. regards prattman.

I have just heard that Dennis Cook has passed away, I worked with him at Smiles for Miles, He was a real true gent, He also worked for Piggy Walton & Albert Blake, Another old driver gone sadly to say, My condolences to his family, RIP,Dennis, Regards Larry.
