What happened Trevor Cathers?
The last I heard was he was operating out of scotland and was involved with Vivers (Meat producers), used to see the trucks with Vivers trailers on. But that was approx 3 or 4 yrs ago, not seen them in a while now.
Maybe Ross can shed some light on them ?
Apparently Trevor was operating around Scotland only as he had become rather fed up with Ireland and as he described - the lack of money to be earned here…
He was operating a few Daf Xfs and there was one of those trucks that had some awful luck - I think near wrote off twice in it’s career…
So basically the last most people heard - TC was still going - but only in the Scotland areas…
He was a demon Rally Driver in his name also was our Trevor - Production champion a few times…
Cheers…
U working for Creggan Transport ? Are they actually based in Creggan ? Theres 2 Creggans in the North, which one are they based at ?But they have Republic plates ? they have some old but smart kit
Creggan Transport are based on the Armagh, Dundalk southern border - and the area in which they are based is named The Creggan…therefore - Creggan Transport Ireland…
They have a mixture of Northern Irish & Southern Irish registered wagons - but Eugene Boyle of whom owns Creggan buys all his new Scanias from Road Trucks, Larne…
Infact Eugene has just added another Scania R500 to his fleet - which now brings it to three R500 Topline Luxury 4x2 units…
A gentleman indeed and a real enthusiast - I actually photographed his trucks all in the yard very recently including the first R500 he bought with the quirky registration - R500-M0O…
Hope this information all helps…
Top Irish Fleet…
any pics of the fleet then ?
I only have high quality ‘hard copy format’ photographs - at the time I had two set printed - one for my own collection and Eugene wanted a set obviously…
I have a few on my computer that I could e-mail you - but they aren’t my photographs, and I don’t know as yet know how to post photographs on forums etc…
Cheers…
