Ok, good luck.

Why don’t you see if it’s going to be a regular thing before treating yourself, also if you do a search on here it’s a fairly regular subject.

Ye that’s what I’m thinking… looks like I’m gonna be eating out all week

If I was to tramp full time I’d treat myself to the top of the range fridge whatever that might be .

Yep +1 my waeco cf35 24/12v 240v fridge was worth the £200 I paid
Also got a 1 ring burner kettle 10ltr water container

So why not get a small kettle for the stove and keep a gallon of water with you ? I have some of those small pots of UHT milk as well.

24v plug in kettle is a lot easier, you can even heat up soup or stew in them.

True and easier to make a cuppa while driving

Thanks fellas you’ve been a big help I got a good idea of what I need now bearing in my mind I’m only doing it for a week to see what it’s like…

I guess I must be spoilt. I just follow the pack, if it hasn’t got a fridge and a microwave in it, I won’t be spending the night in it.

Sent using smoke and mirrors.

I’m afraid I would rather lick pi*s off a nettle than sleep in a wagon.

Harry Monk:
They plug into the 12v socket. They are fine for keeping drinks cool, which saves a lot of money over paying MSA prices for a can of Coke, they don’t get cool enough to keep meat in safely all week when it’s hot outside, and you can’t keep them plugged in overnight or they will flatten the batteries, plus they tend to be a bit noisy. About £40 is what I’d pay if I wanted one.
Do you know If buy really freezer that can keep all night plug in?

PS Good luck.

Theres more out there than day cab ERF’s…

AndrewG:
Ps- goes without saying but never ever use the gas stove inside the cab. I only ever use mine on the floor outside. The little gas canisters are cheap and last a fair while.

Not being funny but why? I’ve used a stove in my truck be it a single burner camping stove or double burner with grill that runs off a propane cylinder ever since I’ve been tramping which is nearly 12 year.
All you have to do is put both windows down a bit to keep the cab well ventilated and make sure you turn the thing off after using and you’ll have no problems at all.

Flip flops.

Oh!..

And baby-wipes.

Have a built in fridge in mine but do also carry tins of food just in case

I do tend to cook freeze & take some with me just to warm up on my gas stove like this worldofwater.co.uk/products/ … GwodhRgC9A

Have a decent kettle to go on top carry water coffee etc

Couple of good bargains for you if you get into it.

No lol , I have it on the passengers seat during the day but I sleep that end and as it’s a compressor fridge it’s better on drivers seat

For helping yourself out in the dark a fleshlight is essential.

Also have you heard of ‘match betting’, earn a few extra quid on them cold winter nights…

I’m impressed with…

Steve being able to talk his fridge into doing all the driving…kudos.

Please promise me that’s not his bum appearing in the corner of one of those pics.
