Came across this the other day and wondered if it had been on here before ?
No LB76 I have not seen that photo before, but seen the Barton lorries quite a few times in real life. Thank you Sandman Norman.
On the subject of Barton’s, someone the other week asked me if they was still a going concern?
Anyone out there that can confirm they are

I’ve just googled Bartons Norm and the company is known as trentbarton now.I presume Bartons and the Trent Motor Traction Company merged at some time.I think Bartons owned Robin Hood Coaches years ago,it was the same livery.
Yes Chris, I done the same, trent buses ran Derby and surrounding area’s and merged with Barton buses of Nottingham. :l
hiya,
Hows tricks Norm?? tried to catch you on the Skype thingy before I went off on holiday but didn’t manage too but i see you’ve struggled along without my imput, the “old lady” took a tumble at the airport on our return and is a bit uncomfortable at the moment with a badly fractured collar bone, and I find myself doing the chief cook and bottle washer job, but us old lorry drivers can turn our hands to anything we all deserve a knighthood really, catch you on Skype Norm and we’ll catch up all the best good buddy.
thanks harry long retired.
Hi Harry, sorry about your wife, myself I have been suffering with my legs, also the sciatica nerve from my right buttock down to my foot was very bad. Honestly Harry do you think you should go on holiday? for the last time you went to Tunisia you caused unrest among the whole arab nation.
and it still not sorted its self out! I shudder to ask you where you went this time.
But I hope your wife gets better soon for her stomach may not stand up to whisky being in every meal you cook.
