Norman Ingram:
Hello lads I did have a nice Birthday, and the next day I used some of my money to have a bet, £20 ew on Genki 20/1 3rd then because I was in front at 8.50 wolvehampton I phoned up and took a price 5/2 and put £40 to win on Walcot Lane, it came in first but at 15/8, again the trainer Roger Charlton, still trying with the lottery, but no good at that, but if I win on the scoop six on the horses I might manage a cruise on the Thames.

hiya,
Norm i’m still Mr Ladbroke’s best friend i’m on his Christmas card list, but i can’t afford to send him one in return, four bets on Saturday four losers can’t pick my nose, i’m seriously thinking of calling it a day, but will still be there on Saturday "trying my luck"so if anybody’s got any “certainties” i’ve still got a few ten Ps to “invest” last of the big spenders thats me.
thanks harry long retired.
Norman Ingram:
Harry, Charlton has a runner at lingfield tomorrow 3.55 Love Match, worth a few bob ew, expect him to be 8/1, he is on a roll getting the money in for the winter oats.

hiya,
Thanks for the info Norm, i’ll bung a few sovs on her, and that’s going to guarantee an extra ten stones on it’s back, i’m usually an “on the nose” gambler but i’ll make an exception on this occasion, here goes. PS where can i get some oats Norm.
thanks harry long retired.

Norman Ingram:
Harry I said to my wife about London, but she did not seem keen at this moment, her arthritus is playing up in her back, and I’m just a pain, I don’t know what she means

hiya,
Ah well Norman maybe another time, my old lady suffers arthritis in one of her knees but fortunately it’s not too bad at the moment so hopefully it’ll stay at bay while we’re away she needs a bit of luck after that horror of a holiday we’ve just had and she does enjoy the shows, she’s promised me she’s chucking work next month, but i’ll believe that when it happens, so Norm it looks like we’ll have to wait for another lorry show before i let you buy me another breakfast and maybe we can make a weekend of it and leave the birds at home while we gaze lovingly at elderly BRS motors.
thanks harry long retired.
Yes Harry we will have to do the show again, hope you enjoy your time down London, catch you when you get back.
