Not very long distance diary. Now with some pictures

Enjoyed reading that, that’s the same jobs my old mans on and in the same locations but on a 8wheel grab. Looking forward to more pics.

Good diary. You have a busy day in a city that has some right lunatic drivers.
I went in your yard at barking once. (it was just once with a lowride chipliner)… its fun reversing into the last door and alongside the chip! :open_mouth:   .

Typical skip yard mate crap everywhere lol Hackney is a lot more confined though.
Worked out how to post pictures now but someone poped round with a couple of very good bottles of Rioja and I’m off to bed slightly drunkeld.

Is that the one at the angel mate.

Has your wagon got a weighloader, or is you body small enough for overloading not to be a problem? I’ve noticed most of the London firms have really shallow bodies, McGee springs to mind…

Got a weigh loader fitted easy to go over with muck just a standard Thompson muckmaster is bang on with a load of sand or crushed.

Ours are a bit bigger: I’ve had 20t on a 6w  Do you still get much of the “you’ve only got half a load on” machine drivers?

Get the odd one that’s why we get the loaders calibrated regular and the office are good at backing you up.

Great diary, gives you a ‘taste’ of london life!working in Bromley at the mo,just want to be out before the olympics start urgh!

Not allowed to collect before 6 pm because of cars being in the way, when you do get there it’s a dead end road, got to drop the moffet before you even think about turning, the card bales for collection are under cover, but there is a pedestrian crossing immediately in front of the storage area, so i’ve usually got a security bod either side of me keeping the public away from the pig!

Sounds rest fun lol.
