Hiya,
Mike, can you tell me why Cawley’s have two different liveries both very smart
the Foden eight wheeler looks fantastic, is it still on the fleet and is the Road-
train still operational or are these just old photographs from your library, that
Foden looks like brand new, I have never driven a Foden as a workhorse but I
would have no qualms about driving that old girl, she’s a beauty.

Not as far as I know. (But they are on same address/Ind estate).
Could be Marrs Jones with a contract livery.

Found this on the net this evening, Michael Shone, and his son Stuart, at the yard pre 38 ton as the trailer was converted later in life to a triaxle, yard now has 4 houses on it, and they packed up around 1994
The 401 was driven by James Shone, 88 in the back ground was driven by Tommy Wilson, and the F7 by Ken"snicker" Peers
Happy days! :smiley:
Done a few miles in all 3 as holiday relief from the garage :open_mouth: :sunglasses: :smiley:
