All FH4 have two stationary modes called living mode and parked mode. When you turn your ignition off but remain in the cab the truck will remain in living mode for 12 hours - or on later models 2 hours - before it will switch to parked mode. It is an attempt to prolong battery life hence why later models are coming from the factory set to 2 hours.
This time is defined by a parameter. This can be set by any Volvo dealership. Be careful though as it may affect battery warranty if it is set to exceed the original 12 hours.
