Personally I think with the exception of the Axor the new Actros is the ugliest truck in a very, very long time - it reminds me of something from a Thomas the Tank Engine.
Agreed. Seen a few around Europe and no livery I’ve seen helps it either. It looks like it’s had a stroke
Must be watching a different Thomas the Tank Engine to me then.
New actros avalible for viewing at MERC Bellshill this Thursday , hopefully going up with TM to view n drive ,
Saw a polish one today on the M8 looked bloody good to me

Inside the new gigaspace looks great and I like the look of it. I think every so often a new truck is launched and it moves the goalposts.
IMO this is the biggest step forward in truck design since the Renault magnum.
Don’t know waht all the fuss is about with the Stobart MBs inside or out! When they can afford these give me a shout!!

Thing is though I imagine a lot of big fleets prefer the grey plastic bumpers simply because they don’t show up marks and scratches so badly
Also easier to repair the commonly damaged bumper area, buy the part and fit it, vehicle back on rd quicker than waiting for parts to be painted. No extra cost for paint and labour either.
Longman.
or no need to run round for over a week with half your bumper missing lol
Thanks for the reminder Russ but yes down to waiting for my part to be painted!
Longman.
also to add to the black plastic, unpainted, parts they also don’t show up scratches so much say from errr catching your step gettin on the train, therefor no need to re paint or replace!
