Neil Young sues Trump

Persuade me. Conversely can someone persuade me why I should love Trump?

Three reasons.

1, he’s not a politician.

I have never understood this.

Kind of like hoping the surgeon who does your vasectomy is an exhaust fitter from Kwikfit.

What?
UV dialysis is all they had? Who? When?
UV dialysis of what? Blood?

If you’ve ever seeing a close relative dying in front of your eyes because the bugs are always one step ahead of the IV antibiotics you’d make it your business not to be so bleedin ignorant. What other dialysis is there other than blood. :unamused:
( It can alo be turned against viral infections just the same and by all accounts this one hates UV it tears it apart ).

The first link is irrelevant. However the other two seem interesting.
There is some good research going on it seems.
Thanks for that.
.
But your initial statement that UV “is all they had” still seems wrong to me.
.
And for your info although “dialysis” is most often encountered by us in hospitals for blood:
britannica.com/science/dial … separation

It can be used in any liquid.
.

What other liquid is there in the case of human dialysis.

The first link is relevant in the sense that hospitals are taking a blinkered approach to treatments.
Just like your baseless attacks on Trump who was effectively just saying do whatever you can based on everything we know don’t rule anything out that might work. That’s not the mark of an evil person. The exact opposite.

UV blood treatment clearly isn’t in the research stage. It’s far more proven than that.

Read it again. It was clearly all they had at the time when it was introduced and first thought of and used in the early 20th century.

It also clearly states that it was ‘then’ set aside as and when anti biotics first appeared and took over.

The really interesting bit isn’t just that Covid hates UV.But UV’s ability to stop the Cytokine system going nuts often followed by multiple organ failure, or at least a fatal collapse in blood pressure and the heart blowing up trying to maintain it, in the form of a Sepsis type chain reaction.

Which as we know is one of the main ways in which Covid kills just like Septicaemia does.

Luckily they didn’t share that view in the case of Eisenhower’s Presidency.
You think Nixon was better ?.
More like hoping your surgeon can be trusted in a hospital with a bad survival rating or deciding to go somewhere else instead.

All of that! [emoji3]

You do know that Crimea is a part of Russia which was gifted as part of the Soviet Union deal so obviously reverted back to Russia when the Soviet Union was dissolved.
As opposed to Poland not being a part of Germany or the 3rd Reich.

Now if you’d have said that Russia’s obvious intent and motive is to use the whole of Ukraine and Azerbaijan as the route for a joint invasion of Europe by Russian and Chinese etc forces, that would be credible.

To which Johnson’s answer is let’s surrender rather than threaten anyone with those nasty nukes we’ve got.In fact let’s remove half the load carried on the subs so we don’t upset the commies.

The Crimea was given autonomy as part of The Ukraine. June 1991.
The annexation of the Crimea has been condemned by, among others, UK, EU, USA, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Japan. China isn`t a supporter.
India thinks the Russians are in the right though.

Tell us more about how Crimea was originally ‘given’ to Ukraine and Russia’s ( justified ) case for its return to Russia.

Why wouldn’t you want to view Trump’s actions in South China Sea as being directed at both China and Russia.Bearing in mind Russia’s ongoing military alliance with China and arms support like exports of loads of Su35’s.

As opposed to Biden’s calls for the USN to vacate the area and ongoing co operation with the Communist regime.

How far back should we go?
For over 3 centuries the Crimea was a vassal state of the Ottoman Empire.
In 1783 it was conquered by the Russian Empire.
The White Russians were driven out of the Crimea in 1920 by the Red Army.
It was called the “Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic” and became part of the USSR in 1922.
Invaded by the Nazis in WW2. ■■■■ forces deposed by Soviet troops 1944.
In June 1946 it was reclassified by the USSR as an “oblast”. (A less important administrative region).

In 1954 the USSR decreed that the Crimea should be part of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic.

Jan 20th 1991 saw a referendum (under the USSR) when the Crimean oblast wanted the reformation of the CASSR, as in 1922. With the dissolution of the USSR the Crimea became “The Autonomous Republic of Crimea” as part of an independent Ukraine.

May 1992 there were calls for independence for the Crimea from the Ukraine.

!994 Russia, USA, UK, signed the Budapest Memorandum on Security. China and France were “associates”.
This guaranteed the territorial integrity or political independence of Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

I can see the Crimea may well want to be independent.
I cant see they wanted to be taken over by Russia. Russias interference and invasion was in clear breach of the 1994 Budapest agreement, which surely supersedes previous claims.

Some (many) in Scotland may want independence. Would they welcome invasion by the French citing “The Auld Alliance”?

So that’s basically all you’ve got that says it belongs to Ukraine is because the Soviet Union said so.
So why not Russia with the dissolution of the Soviet Union.Who says it’s Ukraine.Russia obviously doesn’t.

Now if you were to say that Russia’s and its ally’s China’s strategic interests in the whole region, not just Crimea , are contrary to our national security , obviously being prepared as an invasion route, then I’d agree with you.
But you’re obviously not saying that because you’ve bought all the Russia bad China good bs and we obviously can’t chuck Russia out of its own country on the basis that they might use it as part of a route to invade Europe.
If we are going to reinstate the Cold War against the Communist scum then at least make it for the right reasons and Crimea ain’t it.
China’s posturing most certainly is.

In 1994 Russia, not the USSR, signed the Budapest Agreement recognising the Ukraine and it’s territory, which at thst time included the Crimea.
