I really do love it I have enjoyed shunting and not sure where the no pressure comes from as shunting is very demanding but I have enjoyed it. Now I am getting to know things I didn’t about the dock and where to take things ect and everyone at the dock is helpful so it makes it easy

I haven’t met him yet but he appears a good boss as he is interested in me and knows my story about how I applied so he is ok by me
Hi Graham. I presumed there be less prying eyes on the docks or in our yard where you could practice reversing and build your confidence…sounds like I was wrong. In answer to the question where could a driver moan when his boss is on here…to the boss’ face. I only occasionally log on just to see if there’s any positive or negative comments about the company. Its a good way of finding out what drivers are thinking and you’d be surprised, or maybe not, at the number of drivers who won’t say their piece face to face when they have the opportunity.

Hi Yer there is a lot less that way like not many tight places to get in to as well so only myself to fight with as well so i really do appreciate the chance you have given me and the extra effort you are going to make myself and new drivers feel welcome and settled in to the company i do like the shunting work and hope i am doing a good enough job ( not heard anything bad) so no news is good news

We’re moving to a bigger site…just waiting for the legal people to do their bit so at this point we don’t have a definite moving date.
