Bigtruck3:
The Daily Mail reported on Monday that David de Gea is one option for Newcastle should Howe wish to seek additional, temporary cover in Pope’s absence. The former Manchester United goalkeeper remains a free agent after ending his 12-year stint in between the sticks at Old Trafford over the summer.
But why?
We have a perfectly good ex first team keeper in Dubravka, we also have Karius who proved himself in the League Cup final, and lets not forget Mark Gillespie, another capable keeper…so again, Why?
I heard Man U wanted him back anyway, especially after Bob Banana’s or whatever tf you call him, recent performances.
He was earning 350,000 a week at United and he’s still not found a club yet, as the BBC headline says its today’s gossip
Man U had the option to buy Dubravka when he was on loan there.
I just assumed they would as he’s a competent keeper imo, I was surprised when he came back to St James tbh.
Purposely kept off it did not want to jinx our best season since they sacked poor old Bobby for finishing 3rd …20 + years ago
Anyhoo watched the last game earlier.
Couldnt watch on UK TV so had to resort to dodgy means.
We were actually failing to qualify for Champions League 1 0 down to Everton.
Then…MAN U 'kin NITED of ALL people, saved our day by beating Villa putting us in 5th place qualifying.
I’d like to thank all the Man U ‘‘home’’ fans from the heart of my bottom, …who nearly ALL live in the South of England, London and Home Counties…and the 2 mates of mine in Devon for paying me my 20 quid bet …(sorry couldn’t resist the home fans gag …but it s true..)
Seriously though the end justified the means.
Looking forward to Champions League again next season…I’m a happy bunny, (even though I couldn’t watch last game of season in the pub.)
Got my Sandro Tonali shirt ordered…player of season for me..
Nothing to do with Newcastle but what a match, PSG has got what they always wanted without the pre Madonnas being involved
Young fresh fit and brilliant
Manger has done a great job
Just one man’s opinion
