My old truckfest pics

the c&c coachworks iveco is still about i see it regular and still looks the same just without the wheel trims

I’m sure i.ve seen photos of the yellow scania in the 2nd from last photo but now its blue. i thought it to be ex coles. Could be wrong on all counts. Great photos carl, sorry you have no more. I,ve hundreds of photos of my own motors. But i would think most on here would of seen enough of that!!

rob the yellow one was owned by john philips of worcester then coles of banbury bought it and had it airbrushed and showed it for a couple of years.they had it sprayed blue and carryed on showing it.last year at gaydon it was there but i cant remember if coles still owned it
stop press my mates gave me some pics of a truckfest in the 80,s

I think that coles scania ended up on Ebay and last time i saw it, it was on the A14 with a wide load. I’m sure the sign writing on it read Emergency traction? More great photos carl, i’m loving the eighties show trucks, worlds apart from todays bling monsters.

This one belongs to John Smith from Turriff, it was written off in about 2002 when I car came round a corner on his side of the road forcing him turn the lorry into trees. He now currently runs an 02 plate pearlecent 580.

i used to drive the c&c coachworks truck when i worked for them it still looks the same but with light bars on and no wheel trims.

yes but no!just seen the one im thinking of today and its not a topline but it did used to belong to fabricat and its a donegal 01 reg which seems to pull containers. so i wonder whats the deal with the scottish one and the irish ones having the same paintjob?

wicked pictures…

Bring back the old days i use to go off with my dad in his atkinson and the old scan’s and mag’s etc…
