You would know Phil ( used to work for Peter Reardon) then, think he went on for Laverys who does a bit of tradin with Dave ( storage and distribution)

I was a subby for P&O Refrigeration (Ireland) when he was there, but he goes back a long way with my Dad to John /Peter Reardon , Dave has always ran his own motors and funnily enough Dafs! Hes side stepped to other makes but has always gone for Daf.
He told my brother he was down sizing, cost of the fuel must have crippled him!

I hope it works out for ye, its a tough game, i used to run 5 but got out a few yrs ago, my brother runs just the one. I dont miss those headaches!! But fair play to ye now.

No, thats Peter Reardon snr and his son Peter Jnr( who used to run 3 Wagons, Phil used to drive one of them to Germany every week) when it was P&O, both of them now work in the Office for McBurney Refrigeration in Sandhills after McBurney bought out P&O.
My dad used to work for Peter and Jimmy Reardon Snr for John Reardon International , a 70s Refrigerated Company. Dave was runnin his own even then so been goin some yrs.
Spammy used to work with my Dad at Derry Bros, which Peter Reardon used to run in Marshalls X.
Wally Thorburn is also an ex Reardon associate!!

dagv8 i am scania mad aswell mate, even though i do really like DAFs.
I have always wanted to own and drive my own scania topline, with all the extras on it. I will be ordering one as soon as i have got the ok from the boss and passed my test!

I dont remember him startin with any battered old scanias ?
He started with his SSC Black Daf ( Irish registered) bought a brand new Volvo FH Globetrotter that a guy they call Spammy drove, ( this was when he was on for P&O Refrigeration (Ireland)), he then got the container work he’s doin now, added some brand new MANS then New Dafs, bought 3 ex corby 124 Scania and hammered them. Everytime I saw Dave a New Daf or Volvo was on its way!
we had six of them reg S627 BRP through to S632 BRP my dad drove S628 for port logistics b4 kellys got them !

There was a lad called Peter who drove the SSC and a NI Renault Premium I last saw him driving for Biffa or Veoila ain a Eurostar.
